SCHOOL PICNIC 2022 Monday, December 12, 2022

The School Management arranged for a one day picnic for our pupils of std I to X, in association with the Adventure Education Tours, Mumbai. The day began with prayers for safe journey. The buses, fully packed with students and teachers headed towards The Royal Garden Resort, Vasai. The students were extremely excited to reach the destination. All the students not only sang songs, played antakshari in the bus till they reached the venue but also observed various heritage sites that came their way, various metro stations that they passed by, and other important sites/structures.

Students were welcomed by the faculty of the resort, they were served with break fast at the entry. The adventure group escorts traversed the pupils across various pools and water rides. The kids danced to the thumping music played by the DJ with great energy. The teachers could not resist the luring temptation of the dance floor. After a tiring and fun packed morning we all headed for lunch to devour a sumptuous meal. The dining hall, filled with the aroma of Indian and Chinese cuisine triggered our hunger and we all relished the food.

Later the students were taken for a Magic show organized within the picnic premises. The magician performed sleight-of-hand tricks, he succeed to mystify, amaze and entertain our little audiences.

The buses started homeward journey by 3.30p.m.and by 5.30p.m. the buses entered the school premises. The parents had already been waiting for their children. Though tired, everyone had a big smile on their faces indicating they had had a great fun.

All the students expressed a desire to revisit the place again. This picnic gave them an opportunity to escape from their routine and open up more with respect to their feeling in a relaxed atmosphere. Indeed it was a great day for all the students and teachers, as it strengthened the bond between peers as well as student-teacher.
All in all, it was a sound and safe return trip. “Cheers”.
