On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, Mr. Navin Vazirane and his associate from the National Burns Center, Navi Mumbai, delivered a talk on ‘Fire Safety and Burns Prevention’ as part of their School Education Program. Mr. Vazirane explained the types and degrees of burn injuries and described how various situations at home, in the workplace, and in our surroundings can lead to fire burns. He emphasized the importance of exercising caution when handling fire or substances that can cause burns and provided students with practical tips on how to respond to different fire emergencies and burn injuries.
The session was both informative and engaging. After the talk, students took an impact test based on what they had learned.
