On 7th July 2024, Patrol Leader Training Session was held at Bai B S Bengallee Girl’s High School from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
21 students from the 8th and 9th grades participated enthusiastically.
The event began with the formation of Patrols, fostering teamwork, followed by a flag hoisting ceremony to instill patriotism.
An explanation on the significance of the scout and guide uniform provided insight into the movement’s values. Narrating stories about the history and principles of scouting and guiding captured the students’ attention, while singing relevant songs added a fun element.
The training, led by Ms Binaifer Kandawala, Ms Anita Asher, and Ms Shehnaaz Acharya, with support from other assistants, was smooth and enriching. The session successfully combined education and enjoyment, motivating the students about their roles in scouting and guiding.
