Our school celebrated ‘Mahila Shikshan Divas’ virtually on Sunday, January 3, 2021 – being the birth anniversary of Savitribai Phule, a pioneer in the education of the girl child.
Our trustee, Mr Commissariat along with the Members of the Managing Committee graced the function.
The programme commenced with a prayer followed by the National Anthem. There were speeches on the Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao.
Two pupils dressed as Savitribai Phule recited poems on the Girl Child.
The Principal, Mrs Rabadi appreciated the deep insight of Savitribai in the field of Women’s Education.
The programme ended with an address by Dr Nalwala (Member of the Managing Committee) highlighting the inequality faced by the girl child.
